The agreement between you and Servatto.
Last updated 13 September 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Servatto. We have kept them short and readable. If something here does not sit right with you, email [email protected] before you sign up.
The short version. A$39 per shop per month for the kitchen screen, A$39 per shop per month for the kiosk, A$14 per TV per month for the customer screen, GST included. First 14 days free. Cancel any time from inside your account. We do not take a cut of your sales and we do not lock you into a contract.
1. Who you are dealing with
Servatto is operated by RS Foundations Pty Ltd (ABN 64 653 653 939), a company registered in Victoria, Australia. In these terms "we", "us" and "Servatto" mean that company, and "you" means the business that holds the account.
By creating an account you agree to these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a business, you confirm you are allowed to.
2. What Servatto does
Servatto brings orders from your till and your delivery accounts onto one kitchen screen, prints kitchen tickets and item labels, shows a customer waiting or menu screen, and reports on what you sold. Three products can be switched on separately at each shop: the kitchen screen, the order kiosk and the customer TV.
Servatto does not replace your point of sale, does not process your customers' payments, does not change your menus or prices, and never takes a commission on your sales.
3. Your free trial
Every new account gets 14 days free from the day it is created. We ask for a card at sign-up so that the service does not switch off mid-service when the trial ends. Nothing is charged during the trial. Cancel before day 15 and you pay nothing.
4. What it costs and how billing works
- Kitchen screen — A$39 per shop, per month.
- Order kiosk — A$39 per shop, per month.
- Customer TV — A$14 per display, per month.
All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST. You are billed monthly in advance from the day your trial ends.
Your bill follows what you have switched on. Add a shop or a display and it is charged from that day, prorated. Turn one off and the charge stops, and the unused part is credited against your next bill. You can see and change all of this yourself in your account.
If we ever change our prices we will give account owners at least 30 days' notice by email. A price change never applies to a period you have already paid for. Shops that joined in our first twenty keep the price they signed up at, as advertised at the time.
5. If a payment fails
A kitchen does not go dark over a card. If a payment fails, your screens keep working and you will see a banner asking you to update the card. We will retry over the following days. If it is still unpaid after that, the account goes read-only — you can still sign in, see your history and fix the card, but the live boards stop. Nothing is deleted.
6. Cancelling
You can cancel at any time from the billing page in your account. Your subscription runs to the end of the period you have already paid for, then stops. We do not refund part-months, and we do not charge a cancellation fee. Nothing in this clause limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
We may suspend or close an account that is being used to break the law, to attack or overload the service, or that stays unpaid for more than 60 days. Except in an emergency we will email you first and give you a chance to put it right.
7. Your account and your staff
You are responsible for who you give access to, and for what they do with it. Keep passwords private, remove people who leave, and tell us straight away if you think an account has been misused.
8. Your data
Your orders, your menu information, your reports and your customer records are yours. We do not sell them, we do not share them with other restaurants, and we do not use them to train anything. We use them to run the service for you and to keep it working. How we handle personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy.
You can export your order history at any time. If you close your account we delete your data within 90 days, apart from the invoices and payment records we are required to keep for seven years.
9. Services we do not control
Servatto reads your orders from Square and from your delivery order manager. Those are separate services run by other companies. If one of them changes how it works, goes down, or ends your access, orders from that source may stop reaching Servatto until it is fixed. We will do what we reasonably can, but we cannot promise a third party's service will keep working, and we are not responsible for their outages.
You are responsible for holding valid accounts with those services and for following their terms.
10. Keeping it running
We aim to keep Servatto available at all times and we watch it during service hours. We do not promise it will never be interrupted. Planned maintenance is done outside peak trading wherever possible, and we give notice for anything that will be noticeable.
The screen keeps showing what it already has if your internet drops, and a paired Bluetooth printer keeps printing, because it is paired to the tablet rather than to us.
11. Equipment
You supply your own tablets, printers and TVs. We do not sell hardware and we are not responsible for it. We will tell you what works, and we will help you get it talking to Servatto.
12. Fair use
- Do not resell or rebrand Servatto without our written agreement.
- Do not try to break into, copy, decompile or overload the service.
- Do not use it to break the law or to handle anyone else's data without their permission.
- One account is for one business. Separate businesses need separate accounts. Multiple shops under one business are exactly what it is built for.
13. Consumer guarantees and liability
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or guarantee you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where we are permitted to, our liability for a failure to meet a consumer guarantee is limited to supplying the service again or paying the cost of having it supplied again.
Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim connected with Servatto is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for lost profits, lost sales or other indirect loss.
Servatto is a tool that helps you run service. It is not a substitute for your own checks. You remain responsible for the food you serve and the orders you fulfil.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top always shows the current version, and we will email account owners at least 30 days before anything significant takes effect. If you keep using Servatto after that, the new terms apply. If you would rather not accept them, cancel before they start and we will refund any unused period.
15. The legal bits
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and the courts of Victoria have jurisdiction. If any part of them is found to be unenforceable, the rest still stands. Neither of us is responsible for a failure caused by something genuinely outside our control.
